6 Ways to Organize Your Kitchen in 2021
Resolve to Organize with These 6 Easy Ideas
Whether or not your 2021 resolution is to be more organized, chances are an area of your kitchen could use a little help. Maybe you’d like to declutter a specific section, make things easier to find, or reduce the wires on your countertop. Most organizing solutions are as easy as buying the right bin or insert. Make one small change in January, and enjoy better organization all year long.
Find a place for your fruit.
Not only does this fruit basket give you a place for your fruit, but it helps your bananas last longer. As soon as bananas are picked, they start ripening due to ethylene gas released from the stems. When you hang them from a hook, the gas works more slowly. Hanging bananas also prevents bruising. Display your basket in a visible place in your kitchen to remind your family of the fruit selections available. Maybe this subtle hint will encourage wise snack choices and help everyone with their health goals, too!

Label boxes, baskets, and bins to banish pantry clutter.
No matter how big your pantry is, it can get out of hand if it’s not organized. A great way to keep everything in its place is with labeled containers. For any items that come in single servings, shed the outer packaging to maximize your space. Also, be mindful of where you put each category. For example, if you have small children, put snacks they can eat anytime within reach, and place special treats on higher shelves. Once you get your pantry organized, try labeling bins in your refrigerator!

Locate your spices easily.
You know you have the right spices for your recipe; you just can’t find them! These organizers offer three different approaches to easily seeing what you have. And don’t forget that your spices expire, especially if they are ground. If they smell like nothing, it’s time to say goodbye.

Line up or layer pots and pans.
Pots and pans can clutter your cabinets, so find an organizer to help you neatly line or stack them up. The first two photos below are the same organizer; it can be used in two directions. The third is a rolling drawer that goes into a cabinet, much like the rolling spice drawer above.

Hide your wires.
Of course you don’t like wires cluttering your countertops, but what do you do with your electronics? Consider creating a special drawer that will hold and charge everything in one place. When you’re ready to use your devices, leave the cords behind and out of sight.
